Patsy Takemoto Mink

Patsy hosted big Christmas parties upstairs at Leeward Drive Inn in Waipahu. 

So much food, games, give away stuff, such a fun time and at the end of the

party, Patsy would get up and dance the hula.  Even after she went to Congress, 

and her Christmas parties were held in more elaborate places, she would still get 

up and dance the hula. Others would get up and dance too, she was so great.
